Easily create issues in Jira while working in Confluence

The jcreate macro adds the Jira “Create” button to your Confluence page.

Each button will have an issue counter next to it, showing how many issues were created from it.

Add Jcreate macro

  1. Add the macro where you need it & Publish the page

  2. From page view, press the new button and Configure its parameters:

    1. Project

    2. Issue Type

    3. Button display text (default: “JCreate”)

    4. Summary prefix

    5. Check the checkbox for showing the created issues in a table, if un-checked you can press the issue count to see them

 4. Start Creating issues - JCreate will provide the full Jira create issue screen with all fields!

In order to associate the new issues with the Confluence page properly, make sure to provide Confluence app Id in app configuration.
