Add 'RTL Description' Panel to your JSM Customer Portals

RTL Panel by Default appears on Jira issue view, if you wish to add it to JSM portals, please follow the below guide.

Steps to add RTL Description Panel to JSM Portal

  1. Open ‘Project Settings’ of your service project.

  2. Go to ‘RTL Description’ Section

  3. Choose to apply to all request types or only to selected ones

  4. Now RTL Description panel is available in your customer portal and customer can use it while creating new request from portal.

Known Limitations

  1. It is not possible to add attachments directly to the RTL panel from JSM portal, customer can upload attachments in the attachment panel.

  2. RTL Panel location on customer portal can’t be modified.
