C4J Macro for great SSoT

C4J macro for Confluence can help you designate Confluence to be your team SSoT.

With C4J macro for Confluence, you can link and present specific parts from your content up-on Jira issues, ensuring the issues are aligned with the relevant and up-to-date content.

In the C4J preview panel in Jira, any change to the source will be indicated in Jira to make sure everyone is aligned.

C4J macros linked to issues in Jira
See specific part of your page in the Jira issue

 

To add the C4J macro to a page:

  1. From the editor toolbar, choose Insert

  2. Choose C4J macro from the External content category.

  3. Choose Insert

  4. Enter your text into the macro body.

 

Set macro parameters

To change the macro parameters:

  1. In the editor, click the macro placeholder and choose Edit.

  2. Update the issue key parameter then choose Insert.

  3. The link between the issue and the page will be created on page publish
